From the moment you step inside, there’s a comforting, no-frills atmosphere that feels both authentic and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where the focus is clearly on the food, the wine, and the overall experience.

The menu is a celebration of traditional Portuguese flavors, and it doesn’t try to overcomplicate things. Instead, it leans into hearty, well-executed dishes that leave a lasting impression. One standout is the Morue Au Four, a baked cod dish that’s rich, satisfying, and full of depth. If you’re in the mood for something more robust, the Côté de Boeuf delivers perfectly cooked beef with a bold, savory profile. Meanwhile, the Cochon de Lait Rôti is a must-try for anyone who appreciates crispy skin and tender meat done right.

For something a bit lighter but equally enjoyable, the Bifteck Riz Salade Verte Oeuf offers a balanced plate with steak, rice, fresh greens, and egg-simple yet incredibly satisfying. Looking at reviews and general impressions, this spot stands out as a reliable choice for anyone craving authentic Portuguese cuisine in Roussillon. It’s not about flashy presentation or trendy concepts-it’s about honest cooking, generous portions, and a menu that delivers consistency every time.

“ A wonderful discovery at your Portuguese restaurant. We ordered baked cod and cod with shellfish; both dishes were delicious and very generous. The dining room was lovely, and the staff was friendly. We will gladly return to try other specialties. ”

“ I didn't know about it and I'm a fan! I'd gladly go back; the food is excellent and the service is top-notch. ”

- Geromin Riochi -

“ Yesterday, I had the immense pleasure of discovering, with a colleague, a remarkably high-quality Portuguese restaurant. The cuisine, authentically simple and generous, showcases impeccably fresh ingredients, enhanced by undeniable expertise. The octopus, cooked to perfection, melted in the mouth with an ideal texture, accompanied by a subtly spiced aioli of rare precision. The selection of traditional dishes, such as the various "bitoques" (a type of Portuguese stew), delighted our palates with its faithful portrayal of Portuguese flavors. Accessible in both price and its convivial atmosphere, this restaurant is equally suited to family meals and business lunches. The option of dining on the terrace adds an extra touch of charm to this genuine and memorable culinary experience, which I warmly recommend. ”

- Nico -

“ There's nothing Trasmontano about this restaurant, but it's Portuguese. It's very good. The gizzards (moelas) are great as a starter. But damn it! Why Serrano ham??? Isn't there any in Portugal??? And where are the alheiras, the Trasmontano fumeiro, or the caldeiradas?? Otherwise, the octopus was to die for, and the others really enjoyed their dishes. ”

- Manuel Henrique -

“ Excellent restaurant with Portuguese specialties (and more!). The octopus was delicious and the side dishes were generous! Tonight's main course was suckling pig, also very good and extremely generous! The setting is lovely, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the prices are reasonable. Thank you to the two very responsive and attentive waiters and to the chefs! ”

- Yoann FERNANDEZ -

“ A really nice server, even with the kids. Delicious homemade food, desserts made on site to die for. We didn't wait too long for our dishes, even though they were being prepared. Everything was perfect. ”

- Laetitia DE SOUSA -

“ I went yesterday for the first time... I felt like I was in Portugal. Welcome with a smile. The atmosphere is nothing to complain about, and then the food... it was amazing... really, really good. We'll be back. ”
